Frequently asked questions
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about MH® Kinaesthetics, our courses and training programmes.
How do I become a trainer?
After successfully completing the user programme (foundation course, advanced course and certification course), you can enter the trainer programme in consultation with KMLH.
I completed a foundation course with another Kinaesthetics provider. Can I take an advanced course with KMLH?
Of course you can attend an advanced course. The way of learning and some of the content will be new to you. If so, our trainers are happy to support you individually during or after the course. From experience, we know that this works well - provided you are also motivated to learn.
I am a physiotherapist and want to become a trainer. What steps are necessary?
Successfully completing the user programme is required. It consists of: Foundation course (3 days with practice guidance - focus: own movement), Advanced course (4 days with practice guidance - focus: movement with others), Certification course (10 days over approx. 6-8 months - focus: designing learning processes, acting as a multiplier).
Is there a programme for employees in other sectors (administration, facility management, commercial kitchens, trades etc.)?
Yes! For all people in organisations who do not support others but work with and without objects, there is the specially developed QUINT - Essential Movement programme. Please contact us for more information.
What are regional groups? Can I attend as a Peer Tutor?
Regional groups are a platform for trainers, certified users and peer tutors. Exchange, networking and mutual support on various professional or organisational topics are offered regionally and on-site.
What award marks the completion of the process at MH® Kinaesthetics?
The award is a seal of quality confirming that the respective organisation has been dedicated to building MH® Kinaesthetics competence with exemplary professionalism. Individual employees can also be awarded, receiving a further recognised professional qualification.
Why do some people refer to Kinaesthetics as a concept when it is in fact a learning system?
Many place MH® Kinaesthetics into the category of a nursing concept. From the beginning, the founders called Kinaesthetics a learning and education system. With the establishment of MH® Kinaesthetics The Original in 2005, this became even more apparent.
